Environment, the FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue and the FPS Economy, SMEs, Self-Employed and Energy would like to kindly invite interested parties to the 1st ˜Nano in Belgium" Workshop. The focus of this event is on the current and future nano-research, therefore representatives from various Belgian research institutes, universities and industries are highly encouraged to actively participate by either oral or poster presentation.

The main goal of the Workshop is to improve networking between scientists, industry and regulators in Belgium, and hence improve Belgian participation in the new â "nano" research and regulatory developments at European level. The authorities plan to organize the â "Nano in Belgium" event on an annual basis. We hope that this platform will improve mutual collaboration and strengthen competitiveness of the BE researchers at international level.

Researchers from universities, public and private research centers are invited to submit a 200-words abstract and indicate their preference for an oral or a poster presentation, with their complete affiliation.
