Invitation World Metrology Day - Virtual Meeting - May, 20, 2021
In 2021, World Metrology Day is devoted to "measures for health"
The purpose of this theme is to raise public awareness of the important role played by the measure in the health and well-being of each of us.
For this day, we offer a virtual encounter. We look forward to welcoming colleagues from the Sciensano Institute and the CEN ∙ SCK Nuclear Research Center. They will talk respectively with recent metrological developments in the fields of "food and nutrition" and "radiation dosimetry for health applications". Then, collaborators of the National Institute of Belgian Metrology (SMD) will present examples of their metrological services to health support.
This meeting will end with round tables on the main metrological trends and future challenges.
